Directory service providers

The directory database is hosted in Germany. Providers may also process support, operational or diagnostic data in other countries. Their linked terms describe their processing arrangements and international-transfer safeguards.
Providers used for specific features
These providers receive data when the corresponding feature is used; they are not all involved in ordinary directory browsing.
- Vercel AI Gateway and the selected model provider: optional editorial AI tools send the content an editor chooses to process through AI Gateway. The current default models are from OpenAI. This is an editorial feature, not an automatic transfer of visitor or account records. See Vercel's data processing terms and OpenAI's data processing terms.
- Cloudflare: where traffic is proxied through Cloudflare, it processes request and security metadata. DNS-only configuration does not route website requests through Cloudflare. See Cloudflare's data processing terms.
External websites listed in the directory are independent services. Visiting one is subject to that website's privacy information.

- 2026-09-28: updated the directory provider list, removed the discontinued social sign-in and payment integrations, and clarified the roles of hosting, media storage, analytics and providers used for specific features.
