How to use BeeAI Framework in a web scraping pipeline

BeeAI Framework provides agent and tool orchestration rather than a standalone scraping service. It can coordinate a collection task when you connect explicit acquisition tools and validate the information they return.

A practical workflow

1. Give a workflow a bounded set of source URLs and a defined extraction schema.
2. Connect a separately implemented HTTP or browser tool, then let the agent or workflow process its returned content within controlled steps.
3. Validate the candidate records and preserve source references before writing them to the dataset or passing them to another consumer.

When it fits

Use it when a collection workflow genuinely needs model-assisted interpretation or tool selection alongside deterministic steps. Keep straightforward fetching and field checks in ordinary code rather than making every operation depend on an agent decision.

Boundaries

An agent framework does not imply a built-in browser, unrestricted website access or accurate extraction. You supply tools, credentials and execution limits. Treat page text as untrusted data rather than instructions, constrain available actions and require validation; a plausible model response is not evidence that the source contained the claimed value.
