How to use Webshare in a web scraping pipeline

Webshare provides proxy infrastructure and a management API. In a scraper, the API can help obtain or manage proxy configuration, while your HTTP client or browser sends the actual target-site requests through the selected proxy.

A practical workflow

1. Obtain the proxy connection details appropriate to your account and collection job. Keep management credentials separate from the proxy settings consumed by workers.
2. Configure those settings in your collector and associate each selected connection with the request or browser session it serves.
3. Fetch and validate the target responses, then parse and persist records through the existing pipeline. Refresh configuration deliberately when the proxy inventory changes.

When it fits

It fits a collector that needs explicit control over outbound proxy configuration or an automated way to manage its available proxy endpoints. Keep proxy errors and target HTTP responses separate in job diagnostics.

Boundaries

The proxy-management API is not a web-page extraction API. It does not replace a browser, parser or job queue. Protocol support, authentication and session behavior must match your client; the availability of a proxy endpoint does not guarantee that a target returns usable content.
