Version 1.0 Last revised on: June 13, 2026
This policy explains how webscraping.app handles vendor badges, claimed listings, featured placements, and outbound links.
Vendors may embed a webscraping.app badge on their own website, documentation, repository, or changelog. Badge use is optional.
Using, removing, or changing a badge does not affect ranking, placement, reviews, awards, category eligibility, or listing approval.
The generated badge embed code uses rel="ugc nofollow noopener" on the badge link. Vendors may keep that code as generated or use a plain text mention instead.
A claimed listing means an account has verified control of the listed website domain. A claim helps us route profile updates and support requests to the right organization.
Claiming a listing does not create a right to ranking changes, editorial approval, positive reviews, awards, or removal of factual comparison content.
Paid or sponsored placements are labeled in the product experience where they appear. Outbound links for paid, sponsored, affiliate, or featured placements should use sponsored and nofollow link attributes.
Featured placement affects eligible promotional surfaces only. It does not guarantee organic ranking, category order, review outcomes, or search engine treatment.
We do not offer ranking boosts, category placement, reviews, awards, or editorial claims in exchange for followed links.
We do not ask vendors to create fake discussions, paid link schemes, private blog network links, undisclosed promotion, link exchanges for ranking, or link-first community replies.
If you see badge code, vendor copy, or outreach that conflicts with this policy, contact hello@webscraping.app with the URL and a short description.
